Scott Suvow, L.Ac., M.O.M
My New York City Acupuncture practice has evolved over the years. Like a sculptor, I have chipped away to what I call the essential simplicity. I have noticed that we all have patterns of disharmony that eventually manifest in symptoms of various sorts. These symptoms act as smoke detectors and as much as we don’t enjoy them, they inform us that a deeper imbalance needs to be addressed. The best treatment strategy should be more wholistic – treat the overall pattern rather than just an individualized symptom.
In keeping with the simple tradition, I maintain a small focused practice. In order to maintain high quality, I treat one patient at a time. Some acupuncture points respond better to touch, so I like to mix Acupuncture with Acupressure. I strongly emphasize preventative care, and believe Acupuncture is one of the best modalities for stress management and promoting a general sense of wellness.
